				| I found some odds and ends but nothing really useful. Then I found a two stepper. | Quote: | | Finned x-wing 3 r26c36 deletes 3 r6c45, A Type 2 UR 39 r39c12 deletes 8 r3c5.

On April 13th, I added a new entry to the Sticky for this sub-forum. It contains an updated rating order.

				| Thanks Norm.
As previously mentioned, I had found several deletions that did not seem productive; for example, deleting a digit when all three of it's houses had numerous occurrences. Then I spotted the finned x-wing that made a real impact including creating a bivalue cell at r3c5. I had previously seen but not used the UR and realized that that move could make further progress; I was surprised when it broke the puzzle open. It is always fun to be lucky

My initial solution started off with 2x XYZ-Wing and everything after that is only VH+ or less in difficulty. I just checked for alternate solutions and realize that it can be solved with VH+ steps only. I'm not perfect!!! That's why solutions are often posted that shortcut mine.

Addendum: My solutions for this and many other puzzles were originally generated when XYZ-Wing was rated as VH+. I'm (erroneously) using these older solutions with my curent rating system. What I need to do is generate new solutions based on the current rating hierarchy. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you!

				| I used an XYZ-Wing (389), Type 2 UR (39), XY-Wing (498) and simple coloring (3) to finish it off. | |

I was just worried that I had solved it incorrectly.

 Thanks for the puzzles!
