It’s good to hear from you, rihiter

Code:
+-------+-------+-------+
| . . . | . 7 . | 2 3 . |
| . . . | 3 . 9 | . . 7 |
| 3 7 6 | 1 2 4 | 8 9 5 |
+-------+-------+-------+
| 7 . . | 4 . . | 1 . 6 |
| . . 5 | . . . | 7 . . |
| 6 . 8 | . . 7 | . . 3 |
+-------+-------+-------+
| . 5 1 | 7 9 3 | . . . |
| 4 . . | 2 . 8 | . 7 . |
| . . 7 | . 4 . | . . . |
+-------+-------+-------+

You need to find a couple of pairs to place 1 in r6c5

Check column 7. Entries 3, 5 and 9 are excluded from two cells, so those cells must contain the pair (46). Bearing that in mind, check row 6. You will find a (24) pair which leaves only one cell in that row open to 1.

Quite a good puzzle if you don’t use pencil marks!

Steve
