Wendy, Dan's very good and a tough act to follow. I personally don't worry about the number of steps. I just want to enjoy the puzzle and solve it with logic as opposed to trial and error.
 
 
At any rate, that's my rationalization since most of the time I use more steps than many other folks.    |
