				| This is embarrassing, but I had to slog through 10 steps before reducing the grid to a BUG+2. |

Marty, nothing is really embarrassing about lots of steps. Sometimes the key step to break a puzzle is the one you miss because you spotted a different one. 
 
 
The goal for me when solving Sudoku puzzles is to find "interesting" steps,  not the number.
