I have a 2nd computer and on that machine sometimes the little window doesn't come up when I click the ASCII button. I don't know if my mind's playing tricks on me, but this problem sounds familiar.

Marty,

Try a different browser.

I am shocked! that features continue to break on Daily Sudoku. There is a well-documented alternative path on Helmut's site.

Here's something else to shock you. The current time, as shown on the index page, is 18 minutes fast,

I didn't notice it. I was looking on the page after I did automatic basics.

Marty,

What are you trying to do? Can you explain in more detail, with an example?

What I was trying to do was find that alternate path on Helmut's site that you referenced. But I think I found it. After doing the automatic basics and clicking Format, a copyable grid appears below the main grid.

Marty,

Yes, Helmut is Helmut. Some of the stuff on his site is not immediately intuitive, but it is there.

What is broken I would blame on Daily Sudoku, in terms of not transferring puzzles.
