				Nice find Ted. I was looking and missed it.

I played a couple of X-Wings on 1, an apparently worthless Type 4 UR on 24 and an AIC; r2c6<>6. |

				Danny,

I did not think of the pattern as an almost w-wing, but it definitely could be viewed that way. My POV was simply a group of (6s) which, in this case, could also be considered as a Kraken Row: (6)r2.

Terminology is  $#*&^.............

				I still need some help seeing this. I see the W wing if r2c6<>6, but not how the alternative of r2c6=6 leads to eliminations in r8 - seems to me it targets row 7 instead. Can someone please clarify?

Thanks |

Susme,

How about: (6)r2c6-r13c4=r9c4-(6=1)r9c8

Sometimes the obvious to the hardest to see......

You need to proceed past r7c6 in your logic:

 	  | Code: | 	 		  (6)r2c6 - r7c6 = r9c4 - (6=1)r9c8  =>  r8c79<>1

 |
